Flanders is a hamlet and a census-designated place (CDP) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Flanders has a total area of 11.6 square miles (30.1 km2), of which 11.5 square miles (29.7 km2) is land and 0.15 square miles (0.4 km2) is water. It is located in the town of Southampton on the south side of the Peconic River at its mouth in Peconic Bay. Riverhead is across the river to the north. It is bordered by Hampton Bays to the east, East Quogue to the south, and Riverside to the west.

It is the location of the Big Duck, an iconic landmark in the area. Southampton Town Kayak Launch across the Reeves bay to the north is another popular landmark. Flanders also has plenty of parks covering an area almost half of the hamlet’s total area such as Hubbard County Park, Red creek Pond, Sears Bellows County Park, Birch Creek Owl Pond County Park, Maple Swamp County Park, Iron Point Park, and Maple Swamp County Park. David A. Sarnoff Preserve with Riverside overlaps within the borders of Flanders.

Flanders Road is the main commercial thoroughfare that stretches for about 5 miles. It intersects with Cross River Drive as it enters Riverhead. Cross River Driver defines the west border.
