Greenlawn is a hamlet in Suffolk County, New York. Located on Long Island in the Town of Huntington. The hamlet has a total area of 3.7 square miles, all land.

Greenlawn is bordered mainly by Huntington to the west, Centerport to the north, East Northport to the northeast, Elwood to the southeast, and South Huntington to the south. No other major highway or any NY state route passes through the hamlet except by E Main Street at the northern tip of the hamlet and only by a brief distance of 550 meters, sandwiched between Phragmites Park and Betty Allen Twin Ponds Nature Park.

The Centerport Road serves as the main road throughout the hamlet which passes through the downtown area, and it intersects with Pulaski Road, Clay Pitts Road, and Cuba Hill Road at the center of the hamlet.

Edwin and Gertrude Grace Nature Preserve can be accessed north of Centerport Road and NYS Route-25A. Students primarily attend the Harborfields Highschool at 98 Taylor Avenue and Thomas J Lahey Elementary School at 625 Pulaski Road which only is a walking distance of 420 meters from each other. Exiting Taylor Avenue then Gates Street then north of Broadway Road is where Greenlawn-Centerport Historical is located. Couple churches are scattered within the hamlet such as St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church and Saint Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Shrine Church. Smacked dab in the middle of the hamlet is the Greenlawn Park which is a popular spot for local skate enthusiasts, the location is also shared by the Huntington Tri-Village Little League. Meanwhile, Beau’s Bar at 54 Broadway road, is the go-to music venue spot for Greenlawn adults.
