Huntington Station is a hamlet in Suffolk County, New York and a census-designated place. Huntington Station is within Huntington Township. The CDP has a total area of 14.2 square kilometres (5.5 sq mi), all land.

Huntington station is bordered by Huntington in the north, South Huntington in the south respectively; and Greenlawn in the east and West Hills in the west. The E Jericho Turnpike Road forms a natural border in the south, stretching from west to east points of the hamlet. The New York State Route 110 or the Walt Whitman Road intersects with E Jericho Turnpike Road and serves as the main road in the hamlet and stretches from south to north.

There are many businesses in the hamlet. Along the main highway lies many restaurants and other commercial businesses: Taco Bell, Island Thrift, Dollar Tree, Taqueria Mexico Lindo, 7-Eleven, and Walgreens, to name a few. Manor Field Park and Fair Meadow Park are the only parks in the hamlet and are both located at E 5th St with only 800 meters apart. Taking Maple Road then heading east and south to School Lane street is the Maplewood Intermediate School, one of the only two schools in the hamlet.

It is the beginning point of electrification for the Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, and so many New York-bound trains start at Huntington station. The S1 bus (operated by Suffolk County Transit) also serves the hamlet along Route 110. Besides the BART buses, the Town of Huntington also runs HART buses across the hamlet. The H10 and H20 buses only serve the southern portion of the hamlet by Jericho Turnpike, while the H30 and H40 services the northern portion.
